Position Overview:

We are seeking a suitably experienced Civil Supervisor to join our team to head up our projects in the North and Northwest of Tasmania.

Key responsibilities:

The roles will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Delivery of projects in a cost effective and timely manner
  • Ensuring that all activities are completed in a safe way
  • Ensuring a high standard of workmanship that meets all relevant statutory requirements and customer expectations
  • Exercising advanced trade and non-trade skills using various material and specialised techniques
  • Exercising decision making and discretion within the scope of the role

Qualifications:

Essential

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Supervisor or extensive experience as a Foreperson
  • Lead a large team including providing direction and managing workloads
  • Work with high safety and quality standards and hold others to a similar standard 
  • Communicate effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Be physically fit and capable to complete manual tasks
  • Construction White Card
  • Current driver licence
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test
  • Current full working rights in Australia

Desirable

  • Dogging, Rigging, Working at heights, Forklift & EWP tickets
  • Medium rigid licence
  • Experience/tickets with variety of mobile plant
  • Advanced traffic management
  • Cert IV in Civil Construction
